General Information

  • Access to the venue is strictly from 10am on the day of the event. You will not be permitted access to the site before this time.
  • Everything must be removed from site before 9am the day after the event (no exceptions).
  • There is very, very, very limited (maybe none) cell phone coverage.
  • We are in a high fire risk area surrounded by a commercial Pine Forest, please take note of where the fire extinguishers and fire hoses are located. In case of emergency everyone needs to assemble on the tennis court.
  • There is a designated place for smokers is by the Bike Shed next to the car park. Please make all your staff aware there is no smoking anywhere else on the venue.
  • Stilettos type heels are not permitted in the Schoolhouse.
  • The Schoolhouse will be cleaned and locked shortly after the ceremony, please take all your belongings with you after the ceremony.
  • All electrical devices must be PAT certified.
  • Nothing may be screwed, glued, pinned, taped, nailed or stapled into any surface either inside or outside of any buildings, fences, trees or gates. There are anchor points provided that you may use. String or nylon is the recommend method for attaching items, please bring some.
  • If you haven’t been to Old Forest School before you are welcome to visit before the event.
  • Please contact us to make an appointment. Do not turn up without an appointment.
  • Park your vehicles in the guest car park, don’t stop anywhere else to unload.
  • Do not plug in any electrical equipment without checking with OFS staff first and showing a current PAT Certification tag.

Housekeeping

To be read when everyone is seated for the ceremony prior to the brides arrival.

  • Remember this is a school, so smoking, including e-cigarettes, is only permitted by the bike shed.
  • Please use the bins provided around the venue for rubbish.
  • There are hazards on site such as livestock, electric fences and water troughs so please actively supervise and remain with children at all times.
  • Toilets are located behind the Sports Shed near the tennis court. Please use toilets, not garden or grounds.

    Ladies, the couple have requested you pay special attention to the signage in the toilets please.
  • All vehicles must be removed by the end of the function, NO vehicles can be left here overnight.
  • In case of emergency please assemble on the tennis court.
